Maruthi Mahila Society is a non-governmental organization (NGO) in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, that focuses on women and child development
Vision:
“Maruthi Mahila Society works for the better society with Socio-economic equality in all aspects especially the women, children, oppressed and other vulnerable sections live with mutual understanding.”
Mission :
Empower marginalized and oppressed people to acquire skills and resources and
live with respect and dignity
- Generate awareness on sustainable environment and make the people to create
and adopt environment friendly atmosphere and to Sensitize people about the
need of socio-economic equalities in the society.
- Ensure the participation of all the people in the process of establishing a society
with values of justice, equality peace and a society which is free from hunger,
sickness, poverty, ignorance, illiteracy and other inequalities.
- Serve the most vulnerable sections of the society like children, women, PWDs
HIV/AIDS effected / infected and senior citizens.
- Awareness Programs on Drinking Water and Sanitation
- Rainwater Harvesting Programs in rural areas
- Capacity Building training for rural communities on Drinking Water.
